2. These terms

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you. By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully before ordering. We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies is the one in force when you place your order.

3. Using our website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. The content on our site is for general information only and, while we make every effort to keep it accurate, we do not guarantee it is complete or error-free.

4. Our products

Our bags are handwoven, so slight, natural variations in colour, weave and finish are a characteristic of the craft, not a fault. Product images are for illustration; the actual product may vary slightly. We take care to describe and price products accurately, but if we discover an error we will contact you before your order is dispatched and you may continue or cancel.

5. How a contract is formed

Your order is an offer to buy from us. After you order, you'll receive an acknowledgement email this does not mean your order is accepted. A contract is formed only when we send an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order (for example, the item is out of stock or there was a pricing error), we will let you know and not charge you.

6. Price and payment

Prices are shown on our website and may be displayed in several currencies depending on your location or the currency you select. The price you pay is the one shown in your chosen currency at checkout.

Our prices are all-inclusive: the price you see includes VAT and any applicable taxes and import duties, wherever in the world we deliver so there are no unexpected customs charges to pay when your order arrives. Where a price is shown in a currency other than pounds sterling, it is converted at the exchange rate applied by our payment provider at the time of purchase, and your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion or transaction fee.

Delivery costs, if any, are shown separately at checkout before you place your order. Payment is taken at the time you place your order, through our payment provider [Shopify Payments]. We do not store your full card details.

7. Delivery

We deliver worldwide. Estimated delivery times are given at checkout and are estimates only. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. All taxes and import duties are included in the price you pay, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery.

8. Your right to cancel (change of mind)

If you are a consumer in the UK, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason. To cancel, contact us at hello@nuaei.com. You must return the item, unused and in its original condition and packaging, within 14 days of telling us. We will refund the price and standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the returned item (or proof of return). [You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.]

9. Returns and refunds

You may return any item within 14 days of receiving it, in line with your cancellation right above. Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging, and refunds are made to your original payment method. Please see our Returns Policy for full details on how to return an item.

10. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If an item is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Please contact us and we'll put it right.

11. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses (as our products are supplied for domestic and private use).

12. Intellectual property

All content on this website including the nuãei name, logo, text, imagery and designs is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use it without our written permission.

13. Privacy and data

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

14. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, extreme weather, strikes, or courier disruption). We will contact you as soon as possible and, where a delay is substantial, you may cancel and receive a refund for undelivered items.

15. Other important terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest will continue in force. No delay in enforcing these terms is a waiver of our rights.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
